Smart Young Mindz - A Future of Great Ideas - Genius is always fashionable

Smart Young Mindz, also known as SYM is an annual competition initiated and facilitated by Blue IQ, an agency of the Gauteng Department of Economic Development (GDED). The competition partners are the Gauteng Department of Education (GDE), The Sowetan’s Aggrey Klaaste Foundation and Blue IQ's subsidiary company, The Innovation Hub (TIH).

The competition is open to any grade 8, 9 or 10 learner within the Gauteng Province. Participation is in the form of a group of five learners, no less and no more. Groups may consist of mixed grades, eg two learners from grade 8, one learner from grade 9 and two learners from grade 10...
